Recommendations for coeliacs

Our beer baths contain, among other ingredients, barley, a cereal that contains gluten. Exposure to this cereal during the bath is external only.

Beer baths, sauna and barley beds

Immersion in the beer baths, the sauna and resting on the barley beds do not compromise the health of people with coeliac disease.

The exception is people who have developed dermatitis herpetiformis (Duhring's disease), considered the cutaneous manifestation of gluten sensitivity in people with coeliac disease: it is incompatible with our circuits and treatments, which involve skin contact with gluten.

Gluten-free beer available

During the experience, coeliac guests who request it can enjoy gluten-free beer for the tasting. Let us know when booking and we'll have everything ready.

Accidental ingestion

Beer Spa Internacional accepts no liability for poisoning caused by the accidental ingestion of bath water containing beer components, or of beer containing gluten, by people with coeliac disease visiting our centres.
